Greetings from one of the loveliest places on Earth. The ancient Greeks spoke of Zeus seated with large jars on either side of his throne from which he could ladle out to man either sorrow or happiness, on whim or at random. I inherited that Greek fatalism, and fear I am destined for sorrows once Zeus realizes how lucky I have been. I met Lyne in August 2000; we married August 2005. Wedding anniversary # 4 was last August. I have never been so happy.
Giclée prints of my work now available!

View from the Teahouse I, 2006, from the Artist's Collection. Now available as a print: 7.75 x 20" or 11.5 x 30"
I’m not personally involved with the 2010 Winter Olympics here in Vancouver, but I thought our visitors as well as our friends might enjoy inexpensive images of recognizable Vancouver scenes. I've had four of my early paintings of the Ships, Mountains and the Sea series scanned recently and made into very-high quality giclée prints. The images were taken from works I've chosen to keep in my own Artist's Collection.
Prices and the available sizes for each image are now online. You can order them instantly using PayPal or simply call me to make another arrangements. Link to view all prints available

Gallery 110 and the perils of running art across the border
In October, a dozen new works travelled to Washington to serve as the centerpiece of a solo show at the Gallery 110 in Seattle. My little SUV (stuffed with paintings) was x-rayed in a massive double-truck-sized scanner at 5 a.m. on the frigid Sunday morning I drove them to Seattle.
George Brant, Gallery 110 founder and artist-director, gave up his Sunday morning to hang the show (it looked very good) and I spent a good many days of the next 30 days in Seattle during the month-long show meeting new friends and reconnecting with old friends. My friends (and patrons) Lynn and Todd Reinke hosted a salon-style evening of artworks and wine at their home overlooking Puget Sound, the opening nights were well attended, and I learned way more than I ever wished about the complexities of cross-border exhibition and U.S. Customs.
