Dear friends,

Time to celebrate! A reminder that two exhibitions of my artwork open this Thursday evening, May 3, 2007 with a reception from 7-9 pm. You will find lots of free parking on the street outside 2060 Pine Street (between 4th and 5th Avenue) in Vancouver.

If you miss the reception, come by during the month for coffee and a look at the paintings. The show will run from May 4 - 27, 2007. The gallery will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm and by appointment. Or call my cell at 604-779-0129 to schedule a special time.

Lower Gallery: Ships, Mountains and the Sea IV
Some fifty acrylic paintings, from very small to very large, are my best work of the last three years. I look forward to sharing them with you.

Upper Gallery: The Kindertotentanz (Painting the Darkness)
A group of over 100 works done between 1984 and 2000, including etchings, aquatints, pen & ink drawings, oils on canvas and acrylic paintings. They explore my emotions as a pediatrician faced with the sadness and suffering of very ill and dying children, particularly during my early years of paediatric training in Los Angeles.

Feel free to invite any friends, acquaintances, or relatives who you think might be interested. And who knows, maybe you will come to Greece this year for the third of my new shows!
