Join me for the last week of Island Paintings

Five days left!
The exhibition closes at 5 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Please come visit and bring your friends! I’m attending the show every day, noon-5 PM. Come have a latte and a homemade espresso brownie, and keep me company.

If you cannot see the show in person, all the works are posted here.

Artist’s Talk: “Island Magic: Paintings and Poetry”
Sunday September 22, 2018 from 2-3 PM. Refreshments will be served.

The reception was a great success. Thank you to all who came to the party – it was wonderful to see you! Chef Claire and her staff served delicious finger food. Yukiko Onley captured the convivial atmosphere in her photos. Thank you Yukiko!

Hoping to see you soon, David

    Hi David,

Hi David, good to see at least a Foto of you ;-)) you look good and relaxt. I like your new series of paintings. unfortunately I won’t travel to Canada. When are you planning to come to Europe ? You and Lynn are very wellcome to our place – weather Hittnau or St Raphael. We are still busy. I plan to sell my office in 2021 and continue to work on very low %. We have still 3 dogs, 10 hens, 25 turtles and fish… and feel younger: I lost finally 8 kg 🙂 I undertake 2-3 Foto-expeditions a year and plan to force my hobby to a professional level. themes are: Landscapes, animals, people, architectural, … we hope to see you once !!!
    much love, Chris and Alexandra

Thank you for giving me the copy of the poems from your artist talk. When I read through them, I can see your paintings are expressing the emotion in poems. The paintings really translate the poems into visual images so vividly that they complimenting each other. Beautiful awesome work!

Thanks, David. I was particularly struck by #1 and #4. The movement and colours in the clouds(#1) were like the breath of Mother Nature at work and #4 was so beautifully still and stark, and inviting. And of course our years on Cape are still special even at our now remove.
    Best from us both! Nell
