THE INLET III, Visual Space Gallery, September 2024
Thank you to all who came to see my September exhibition here in Vancouver. I greatly enjoyed meeting some art-lovers for the first time and delighted in visiting with old friends. Lyne made a series of delicious plum tarts and coconut cakes to share with those who had time to linger. We had lovely weather, sitting outside in the sunshine.

The works were beautifully framed by Westart and professionally hung by Thiessen Art Services. Many of you said complementary things about the works which was very gratifying, and about a third of the paintings found excellent new homes with enthusiastic owners. If you were out of town in September and missed the show, you can look at the paintings on my website.

It would be fun to see you and learn your news. Please schedule a quiet private tour of my Studio 1610 near intersection of Clark Drive & First Avenue. It is a large, well-ventilated space, with many air purifiers, and we can safely visit together, enjoying coffee, tea or a glass of Pinot Noir.

My schedule is likely much more open than yours, so let’s book a day/time that works well for you. Contact me at haughton-art@shaw.ca and let’s plan a get-together.

EASTSIDE CULTURE CRAWL
November 14 – 17, 2024
Thu/Fri: 5pm-10pm
Sat/Sun: 11am-6pm

This annual event features hundreds of East Vancouver artists opening up their studios to share artistic passions with the public! It’s a great way to ask questions and spend a little more time with artists. And, you may see something lovely to take home!
Culture CrawlCome visit me and my talented Studio 1610 colleague Michael Abraham. No need to schedule – just come during Crawl hours. We both have new paintings to show you, and Michael has, as well, a selection of bronze sculptures. There will be a few classics from the vault, and a selection of cards and prints for the light spenders among our family and friends! We have ESCC maps of participating studios to give you if you come by our studio first.

We are at 1610 Clark Drive #201 – above Terminal City Brewing. The studio door opens onto the rear-parking lot accessed via the alley between 1st Avenue and Graveley Street. The alley can be entered either from Clark Drive or McLean Drive. There will be signs!
