Fear, Hope and & Longing II: Paintings of the Pacific Northwest

You are invited to a show in Vancouver of my recent work and I would love to see you there. It will be an opportunity to view paintings from this spring’s exhibition at Gallery 110 in Seattle, as well as new works from the same series.

The images in Fear, Hope and & Longing II: Paintings of the Pacific Northwest depict storm season at Tofino, BC. in all its grandeur. Each painting is anchored in strong feelings. Through the paintings I seek to capture the emotions I experienced at that day and time: “fear” of the dark waves, “hope” found in dawn’s glow, and a sense of “longing” in the stillness of the sunset.
